‘We’re looking for a more custom-made market approach’, Jan Willem Sepers(r) tells a customer.

Potato seed selector Frank de Schutter from Vierhuizen in the province of Groningen and seed potato merchant Agroplant in Medemblik jointly set up the Qualituber company last year. Parties interested in top-quality seed at home and abroad can order transparently- grown disease-free, high-quality basic seed of various varieties from Qualituber. ‘We’re a service company that brings supply and demand together and tells beforehand what the costs are going to be. Consequently, both the grower and the buyer know their financial income and investments when the seed is delivered after one or more growing seasons’, director Jan Willem Sepers summarises the system.
