Focus on taste and quality at Flevostar Potato

In 1991, potato grower Jaap Kodde in Dronten started to package and market his home-grown five hectares of Bildtstar. In those days, Bildtstar was still a new table potato variety with a distinctive taste that was particularly appreciated by the Dutch consumer. Today, exactly 25 years later, the business has adopted a new approach with different people and a different name: Flevostar Potato. ‘With a focus on taste and quality, in five years’ time, we want to have outdistanced the French’, Kodde and the new Director William Verhage outline one of their core objectives.
