Joint venture Linkage-Farm Frites invests in Dutch technology

During the World Potato Congress (WPC) in the Chinese capital of Beijing, the Chinese government reported that by 2025 a total of 40 percent of Chinese potato production should be sold to the processing industry. As the entire potato harvest is estimated to be 220 million tons, this means that a total of 88 million tons of potatoes will be processed annually. To accomplish this objective, the Chinese are investing in cultivation, storage and modern factories. Recently, it was made known that the Chinese company Mongolia Linkage Potato Co and the Dutch processor Farm Frites have given concrete form to the plans they presented last year.
