On 1 and 2 September 2021, the Dutch edition of PotatoEurope will take place for the first time at the location of Wageningen Plant Research in Lelystad. That’s where Chris de Visser, currently Business Unit Manager Field Crops of Wageningen University & Research (WUR), started over thirty years ago at what was then called Practical Research Plant & Environment. In the meantime, practical research is carried out in all Field Crops: arable farming, field-grown vegetables, fruit, trees and seed cultivation.
