PotatoWorld magazine: the #1 source of potato information
In the winter period, the seaport of Beverwijk has been the focus of Dutch seed potato export for many decades. This season is no different but, due to the corona pandemic, there is much less activity than in other years. Major destinations to which seed potatoes are shipped in bulk, such as Cuba and Algeria, have significantly reduced their import volumes. Container shipments to destinations such as Israel seem to be under less pressure.
