‘Due to the rapidly growing sales market, we need more potatoes. In addition, we’ll be introducing a new type of index contract in collaboration with our growers committee’, emphasises Dick Zelhorst, Chief Agro & Supply Chain Officer of the Aviko Group, who looks at the potato chain from ‘Farm to Fork’. In ‘his’ part of the potato chain, Zelhorst sees that the market is recovering better than expected after corona.
