Potatoes produce 50 percent less CO2 emissions than cereals

A literature study by the Union of the German Potato Industry (UNIKA) and the German Potato Trade Association (DKHV) shows that the CO₂ footprint when producing and processing potatoes emits 50 percent less greenhouse gases than cereals.
