At Wageningen University & Research, we believe that true innovation starts at the beginning. Not in a laboratory or a field trial, but in the joint exploration of what really matters. What questions do we need to ask now, to be able to grow potatoes tomorrow? And how do we ensure that these questions are not only relevant to researchers, but also to breeders, growers, chain partners and policy makers? Sometimes these can be pretty confronting and awkward questions, but they need to be asked, and the answers should always be based on facts and reliable research.
