Sustainability and openness are important keywords at LC Packaging

September 2022

LC Packaging’s parent company is located in a super modern and spanking new building on the A12 near the town of Waddinxveen. In 1923, the Lammers family in Amsterdam started trading in used jute bags. After almost a hundred years, the company presents itself now as an international producer and distributor of flexible packaging solutions, whereby the family business has grown significantly with sales of over 200 million euros and 1, 769 employees in sixteen countries. ‘The agricultural sector is in our DNA’, says Boudewijn van Fraassen, Director of Agricultural Packaging. ‘Half of our turnover is generated in the agricultural sector, in which the potato sector is an important player with around 10 percent of the total.’
