Until July 1^st, early deciders can also make use of the early bird discount in the online ticket shop, the organization adds. The potato focused trade fair will be held on September 7-8 of this year in Germany.

Central meeting place for the potato industry

Preparations for the event are in full swing. ‘Currently, more than 170 manufacturers and companies active in the potato sector have already booked a stand at the PotatoEurope exhibition grounds. So PotatoEurope 2022 will once again become the central meeting place for the potato industry. The companies would like to meet their business partners well known and new customers in person again. With trial plots, extensive machinery demonstrations and an attractive technical program, PotatoEurope 2022 at Rittergut Bockerode will attract potato professionals from all over Europe’, says Wilfried Wolf, Project Manager of PotatoEurope Germany.

Entire product portfolio for modern potato cultivation

‘During the machine demonstration programme, modern techniques will be shown in practice. Visitors can experience in detail which new or improved system solutions the manufacturers have available. Also this year, as before in 2018, machines for mechanical weed control will be presented, a technology that is increasingly becoming an exciting alternative to conventional farms,’ Wolf continues. With regard to agricultural technology, the entire product portfolio for modern potato cultivation will be represented, the organization adds.
