‘Certification keeps you sharp’

Most potato growers have to go through it every year: the GlobalGAP inspection. In his capacity as inspector for the extensive certificate, Arie Maris of Control Union visits many different businesses and based on his experience, he quickly sees whether things are in order or not. Potato grower Gijs Bos from Wieringerwerf endorses the use of the inspection: ‘It’s not my favourate hobby, but it keeps you sharp.’
