Europatat looks back at a successful congress for the European potato sector
European Potato Trade Association Europatat reports that the 2023 edition of its annual congress has been a successful event for the European potato community. The association reports that over 100 participants from more than 14 different European and non-European countries took part in the Europatat Contress 2023, co-organised by the Polish Potato Federation.

The Polish Potato Federation and Europatat, the organisers of the first Polish edition of the Europatat Congress, recently announced the main confirmed speakers of the event taking place on 6 June 2023 in Gdańsk, Poland.
European campaign promoting fresh potatoes prolonged
Promotional bodies Bord Bia, Europatat and VLAM recently announced that their campaign “Potatoes, prepare to be surprised – Europe’s favourite since 1536”, will continue for three more years. The aim of the programme’s activities is to encourage the consumption of fresh potatoes among millennials in Ireland, France and Belgium.
