If fruit and vegetables are your trade, you had to be in Berlin at the beginning of February. A record number of 70,000 visitors from 130 different countries flocked together at the annual Fruit Logistica trade show this year. Although one of the pillars of the show is to meet and greet, there are always many novelties and innovations to be enjoyed. This time, where potatoes were concerned, the focus was on ‘the variety as a brand’.
