In mid-September, the Korean company E Green Global (EGG) opened a pilot laboratory for the production of micro tubers on the knowledge campus of the University of Twente. ‘Now we can finally start producing locally and test our micro tubers in Europe in practice’, says the relieved Dutch representative of the company, Epi Postma. EGG also signed a joint venture agreement with the El Boghdadeya Group (EBG), an Egyptian trading company.
