Restrain appoints Dr. Benedikt Cramer as new Managing Director

Dr. Cramer brings new experience from his previous role as Managing Director at Nufarm Germany, where he played an important role in achieving sales growth in the agrochemical sector. In his new position, he will be responsible for driving Restrain’s strategic vision and growth in the industry.

Rapid growth

It’s a solution with tremendous potential to further revolutionize the storage market and contribute to a flexible food chain that can handle the demands of a growing population and reduce pressure on the environment. I’m looking forward to helping Restrain build on the rapid growth of the past few years, taking the organization to the next level and making this technology available to every farmer and warehouse manager around the world’, Dr. Cramer said.

Global expansion

‘Benedikt’s extensive background in agrochemicals and his proven track record of leadership make him a valuable addition to the Restrain team’, says Dirk Garos, under whose leadership Restrain achieved global expansion in recent years. As Strategic Director, Garos will focus on the significant global opportunities for further growth. Cramer believes this growth will be underpinned by innovation. ‘The development of Restrain’s technology never stops and I’m a strong believer in customer centricity. It’s customer feedback that will drive further improvements. And in addition to working with our customers, we will engage with other stakeholders – food industry, processors, advisors, channel partners etc. – in different markets all over the world to make sure they know and understand the Restrain technology and become part of this exciting journey.’
